Hi, I’m Gabriel Avila, a software engineer with more than 15 years of experience turning ideas into scalable solutions.
My journey began when I first sat in front of a computer at my cousin’s house. To me, it felt like magic—the machine would do exactly what I told it to. I felt like Gandalf commanding the digital world.
But I soon discovered the reality: computers never argue, even when our instructions are wrong. And that’s exactly where bugs like to hide.
Despite that humbling lesson, I never lost the spark. What drives me is the possibility of transforming abstract ideas into architectures, platforms, and products that create real impact. I believe code is more than logic—it’s a way to bring clarity and order to a chaotic world, and sometimes even make someone’s life a little easier.
Over the years, I’ve worked across diverse industries, including:
- Healthcare, fintech, blockchain, web3, GEO, AI, and LLMs
- Startups, guiding them from MVP to scaling ARR 5x, hiring, and building resilient processes
- Enterprises, helping them modernize systems and align technology with long-term goals
Currently, I’m leading efforts at ScrunchAI (scrunchai.com), where we empower companies to become more visible and relevant to LLMs using GEO and AI. Our partners have already seen their reach grow by up to 4x.
With this blog, my goals are simple:
